Tomorrow I will with luck see the Yummiest Mummy I've ever met. Unfortunately it will be brief and all too public with no place to sneak off for a quickie.

She is at an All Girls School and has been boarding since she was 13. It has been good for her. All the girls follow the same rules and have the same expectations so there is no "But Rachael's Mum lets her do it". She has made some really lovely friends which will remain her friends for life and she is turning out to be quite a nice person. She is getting a top flight education and when she is home, she seems to appreciate us and we appreciate her more. She comes home two or three weekends in the term and we can visit her-it's not prison.
Seriously, if anyone is thinking of it as an option for their children, I say look into it further.
I do miss her though

We all leave exciting lives dear...just our own excitement does not always match the next. So a rainy afternoon across the pond...a hot day here in the great south. What is on the schedule?
