I'm more than happy to celebrate other people entering the state of parenthood but I'm completely lost when in the presence of "the little people." I've only ever known one woman whose pregnancy by me would've been the source of great joy but she is now past biological eligibility for motherhood. As things stand now I do very much enjoy being surrounded by her witty, intelligent and just plain fascinating offspring. It is interesting to see how the mixing of genetic soup gave each of them different qualities which they very luckily inherited from their adorable mummy.
Every now and then I'll meet some happy bachelor who does a major double take when I describe what a great mother my lover is. The key to it all is that she does a great job, enjoys her kids and is an expert at the fine art that produced each of them. One of the greatest privileges of my life is in the occasional introduction by her youngest daughter in which she describes me as her father. If Mummy would ever so permit, I'd be delighted to formalize that relationship.

No, but I did notice the creme eggs. I always notice the creme eggs.

Just checked - Easter is quite late this year. Nearly 110 days to go :(

Phew ...... gives me a bit more time to shift the extra weight before the next onslaught of chocolate :)

I was meant to be losing weight for my next race. After the Christmas gain it'll take me about a month longer. B*gger.
