Back to school? :eek:Surely that's weeks away yet? One day of dragging them to shops for new uniform and a long bath to clean up after the summer always did it for me (or have times changed)?

We were in olu deniz ......near the blue lagoon. Gorgeous place, never been to turkey before but would definitely go back. Surely you aren't going away in school holidays!!?? ;):D

That's not too far from Kalkan I think .... looks quite pretty but personally wouldn't rush back - prefer Greek ;)

Last week of summer hols/first week of term time - great for decent price and you tend to get few kids :D

Philadelphia and surrounding counties usually start the first week of September. Schools in Delaware actually went back yesterday (8/15). My kids are both away until Saturday, so I am actually enjoying a few days of naked, drunken bliss. Because I can. :p

Been there. Done that. I'm happy to be liberated from the experience but am also wistful in looking back at memories of those innocent times.
