hey all :) my other half and i were thinking about turning me into a yummy mummy but wanna know a bit more about wat were gettin ourselves into. is there a thread on here abour parenting at all?

oh ok cheers i just didnt wanna bother anyone if it was already in a thread. ok im 19 my fiance is turning 25 my parents are fine his arent. we both know itll happen if they want it to or not but can anyone tell me if they had a similer situation? im taking a break from work becoz too many employers have fucked me over last year, hes on $50,000 a year and were renting. im 19 next month. has anyone had kids around my age and can u tell me about ur experience please??????????

I had my first child when i was 20. I found the sleep deprivation really hard to deal with. My suggestion is that you wait about 5 years, i found motherhood a lot easier to handle at that age and up.
 
thats the thing though some ppl are telling us to wait 5 years and we've got mates who are married 25 and have three kids and they rekon do it now but my other half really wants a family and so do i more than anything and we wanna do it now while were young. my mum had a baby at 36 (my 6 year old brother) and my dad finds it really hard to do all the sporting stuff coz of arthritis. i wanna be able to do all that while were young and still be young enough once theyre out of home to explore the world and enjoy it. a family has always been sumthing we wanna do really soon. we're think about tryin at the end of the year. so what was the hardest thing for everyone to get used to?

I was 28 when I had my first.....no matter what age you are no one can prepare for it........good and bad parts!!
