I see whole helluva lot's changed while I was away. It's your thread, you expect me to do everything around here?

I didn't think you Ulster types observed. It's probably a bigger event in this country anyway.

Howya doing? :rose:

probably but at least in Ulster we get the day off!!

im ok ........bored!!! you?

No national holiday here, surprising really. Just an excuse for people who only drink twice a year to act up.

Had better days, but I'm OK, thanks. Bored? Not really.

no holiday here either!!! the English are so uncivilised :D

dont you lot have national holidays every other week?? ;)

Nope, just seems that way. :D What we have are National Weeks or Days for various people, causes, etc. Not holidays though.

What we could use is some of that Euro-style vacation time.

Oh yeah, we do. But I've encountered Euros and Brits in the islands who literally have off weeks at a time. The only thing better than a week in the Carribbean is 4 weeks. :D

As far as the kids go, that depends on who you talk to. ;)

I don't know about that, but in Trinidad and Tobago there is such a range of cultures and religions they have days off for all sorts of celebrations and festivals.

Personally I think that would be an excellent idea here in the UK, days off for Eid and Diwali and whatever else we can think up. There would be a lot more respect for other people's beliefs if they got us an extra bank holiday or two . . .

We were diving in the Caymans, and there was a German fellow at our resort, staying for 4 weeks! And he still had time to use up.

Not that we would do that here. We're just not hardwired that way. Well, most of us.

How's everyone?

It's unusual in the UK to be able to take more than 2 weeks off at a time. In some countries they do seem to build up a longer break every few years.

I want to say how sexy "yummy mummy's" are. I think you all are so incredible. There is nothing more sexy that a woman who is comfortable with herself. :rose::rose::rose:
