Ask any Swede which band they most associate with summer, fun, and grilling. Almost every single one will say Gyllene Tider (Gilded Times), right @Cogan ? A poprock band from the late 70s, they weren't active for more than a few years but managed to leave an impression that's lasted for decades.

There's nobody here who doesn't know their hits. Seriously. My oldest niece loves them and she's still in pre-school.

I can only agree with you! Even if I'm more like a Wilmer X guy, I have actually seen them perform in a Folkpark the summer 1980. We drove 25 km on our mopeds to see them. Fun memories.
My favorite song is Billy. I still like the lyrics a lot!

I'm simmering with jealousy I've caught Per Gessle solo a few times but it's not quite the same, even if he does perform a few old GT hits every now and then!
