I'm a switch. I like to domme, and I like to be dommed. It's not exactly widely accepted and, sort of like bisexuality, it gets the side eye from purists; "Surely you must prefer one over the other", or the ever so common "you're just a power-sub".
No, I like them both, and hearing that it's been a thing through the ages is... validating. There are others like me, and there always have been. And that it's not always about sex, it's about power. Taking, and relinquishing. True freedom. Heh. Freedomme.

The only reason I know of this band is because one of my “rebel” uncles had this record. They certainly sang songs that weren’t exactly made for radio at the time lol.

Think Ringo is a bad drummer? THAT opening snap proves that wrong in a couple of seconds. Also, THOSE guitars, just a perfect song.
