🎵 Monthly Song Challenge 🎵

Those are some controversial opinions, but I'll not stir that pot because I haven't listened to Somewhere in Time in it's entirety, as recorded. I do have Dance of Death and agree that it was well put together.
Oh, please do listen to it from start to finish! It's one hell of a journey.

Day 28: A song that mentions waiting

Late 90s (maybe '99?), and Texas had a hit with one of the hottest music videos I'd seen.
Sharleens voice. Her face. Her everything. Gods, she's gorgeous.

Few years later, and Rammstein releases the Rosenrot album. I'd been obsessed since Sehnsucht (The name of the Album! Not spank-worthy @morelikeasong!) but this was a pivot into an entirely new direction. From the Neue Deutche Härte (New German Hardness) sound of their first couple of albums, this was much softer, much more musical, melodical.

Imagine my surprise when this band, whom I originally didn't understand a word of, included an English speaking guest singer (because lord knows Till's English sucks!). And it's Sharleen. Splooosh!! I've no idea how they found each other, but they made something beautiful together.

Rammstein ft. Sharleen Spiteri - Stirbt Nicht vor Mir (Don't die before I do)
