Here we've followed one big waste fire. Just 3 km from my home, luckily the wind has blown away from any bigger suburbs. Now they finally canceled the hazard report right before wind is about to turn here... Meaning not so much smoke as to be a danger anymore, though the extinction is still going on there.

One huge hassle as it's the main demolition waste collection point in the province. But this was the 3rd fire in 5 years, 2nd in 2 weeks, and has repeatedly exceeded allowed amount of waste on site, so it will probably lose its environmental permit.

Had a good day today. My wife’s brother (who is autistic) is staying with us for the weekend. We went to a great Halloween walk still on exhibit (see below). Back home for a home cooked meal and a viewing of The Beatles’ Help, a silly movie and family favorite.

May be - but Europe isn't uniform in this sense. A major part of environmental laws are not made in the European Union but in the individual countries.

I worked for a newspaper. We had bound editions going back almost 100 years. The paper would disintegrate if you touched it.

I have an issue with shellfish. I had food poisoning from bad crab in high school and just can’t do it.
