😈✨🍺MrTenant's Tavern and Dungeon

..... I'm just a dumb man.
Isn't that redundant?

*runs out of the room giggling.... then comes back in*

Okay, Kitty, you are far from dumb and you know it. Well... the man part though...

*runs back out of the room, giggling again*

@Strixaluco @cascadiabound thanks for explaining to me. I'm just a dumb man.
You're just being misled by generations of misinformation... Originally it started with men, while women knew better. Then everybody forgot the truth.

Women even climbed mountains in corsets. And in victorian times maids wore corsets, too. In heavy work corsets actually helps.

Mountain climbing and field work in corsets and thigh high boots. With heels.

Definitely not a dumb man. And a lot of costuming is designed to look extra sexy and I too often wonder how actors manage sprints and jumps and other athletics in high heels. Seriously I don't know how they do it.

But it is a fact that women rock climbed (with ropes etc on major rock faces), and summitted major peaks in long skirts and corsets throughout the Victorian era.

I do 1850s period interpretation for a museum and so I wear all the things - corset, many petticoats and dresses made of many yards of fabric. In some ways it's completely ridiculous. However, in wearing such things I've learned that the corset is essential to wearing the skirts and petticoats because all that fabric is supported by the corset - without it you can't manage that many yards of fabric on your hips alone. And yes, I can do a full day of work in those clothes - gardening, laundry, cooking, sewing, ironing, etc etc.

The weird things people do... lol

My wife is in NYC with friends and I had to get out of the house so I went to our neighborhood sushi place. Since I was alone I sat at the counter and struck up a conversation with a friendly Korean couple. Before I knew it they’re pouring me shots of shoju, Korean sake, like we were old friends.
This on top of the sake I’d already had and I’m back home ready for mischief, or I’ll fall asleep, whichever comes first.

I'm sitting in the Kettering hospital where my Mrs is getting treatment after she injured 3 disc's in her lumbar spine. I'm watching her sleep under medication for extreme pain. This is day two. I'm using the hospital wifi for my tablet which kinda makes me uneasy...I don't like shared wifi.

Oh RJ, I am so sorry to hear this. I am sorry I missed it earlier… my thoughts and prayers are with you and K. ❤️❤️❤️

Hope she recovers soon, that’s rough, Rj. I’m sure your presence will mean so much to her
