Hi Honey! :)

Oh, I don’t know about that.
I can recall a certain profile pic - I think posted on a dare, or perhaps there was some instruction given...doesn’t matter - of a mellaginous poster, in a red thongy number, that shared no similarities at all with the ol’ Pale Man.

A gladder bladder is a fine thing, but sometimes cutting a monkey tail can put a spring in one’s step.

Have a wonderful 2018 sweet Honey!

I have to admit, I'm pretty disapointed in myself, made it to page 6 and I was only familiar with a little over a half dozen of those words. To think I always believed I had a pretty magniloquent vocabulary considering how varatiously I read. My taste in reading is eclectic too, oh well. Guess I better start reading the dictionary, although I'm not sure I'll ever find a context to use many of these wonderful lexiphanic words. Guess that masters in military history doesn't really promise an exceptional command of the English language it just made me a bit turgid. Now I'm just feeling a bit DAPOCAGINOUS ;)

Don’t be too hard on yourself. As small as it may seem at times, the world is a pretty big place and there is a whole bunch of wonderful words for everything in it.

I make it point to learn and use - whether in conversation, an email, or writing - a new word everyday, a habit my wonderfully inquisitive daughter has taken up. Sometimes we discover them together, which is always great deal of fun and a treat for me, as I get to see how her bright, young mind comes up with ways to use them.

They can resonate and touch something inside us, be relevant to something going on in life, or just be fun and feel good rolling off of the tongue.

Glad you’re enjoying and thanks for sharing!
