Sometimes a drawing goes through a huge transformation; this one did. My over-working the purple woman until the point I realized she was a dud made me take drastic action. I had already erased most of her limbs…then it occurred to me…..put her inside a vagina! Just draw the wavy lines and smudge them around her and voilà……I had a weird image that no one would understand unless I made the text explain my vision. Even with the text I knew the whole thing was ambiguous. I was ok with that because I thought the words were sexy and the image sexy/interesting!

He was looking into her V and saw a small naked woman in there, as drawn.

I leave it to you to interpret. Just know that that is as far as I went. I took a boring drawing into the weird world my Muse offered and made it into something that is definitely not boring. No more, no less!

It began as the sneak peek purple woman detail I posted (#1297). She was part of an unfinished drawing of a nude woman seated with legs crossed. I worked on the drawing for a few days but it was one of those that the more you do, the worse it gets. I had intended to finish it as conceived. Hence the detail tease. Further work made me realize I was bored with it. It was something like this. View attachment 2312542

Even your teases and sketches are delightful. They remind me of old-time burlesque strippers who always teased their audiences by leaving something to the imagination. As fun as it is to watch explicit hard-core porn (and I do), your art lets my imagination wander and soar, something that seeing people fucking with close-up camera shots doesn't do.

I love how strange and dream/fantasy/pyschotic-episode like this is. Also packed with possibly Freudian material.
All the while just straight up (and in) fun!

Is the woman within a manifestion of the woman without? Is she schizophrenic? Does she have (as we all do) a "secret" personality or simply set of desires...? It this all HIS delusions and/or fantasy? is the woman within miniature and he sees her in her entirety? Is she full size and the outer woman a shell or container for the inner woman...? Of course all can exist at once in this scenario. That makes it all the more rich and nuanced!

When I was finally done with the drawing I do what I often do…rush the rest just to get it posted! I was tired, too. I knew the text wasn’t enough to help the viewer interpret what they were seeing, but I liked the way it sounded (the way it read) so I went ahead.
