So much can be done with cropping and other editing tools! I often prefer a cropped part of an image better than I do the whole. Llehlla does, too. Fonda them more aesthetically interesting.

Here is a highly edited, cropped version of the first image. I think it’s dramatic! And I like the freshness of the first few painted lines, saturated but tentative, next to the pencil marks. I even kind of like the messed up white and butter colors under the bow. Everything is still a possibility at this stage. As I think I’ve said before, I tend to prefer these just-started pieces over their finished versions.
