Age.

I don't often tell people how old I am although I revealed it in the virgin thread. Mainly I don't mention it because it has proven to be one of my many embarassing moments..
Last year I was chatting to a friend at work and she asked me how old I was and I had to work it out, because I hadn't really thought about it for ages. That was pretty embarrasing too, but it took me 3 days to realise I had worked it out wrong.. I had told her I was 22 when I was actually 23!! my 23rd birthday wasn't that memorable.. just like I cant remember what I had for breakfast on the 15th of march.. it was a non-event. Now I am 24, 25 in a couple of weeks and she still won't let me live it down.. (sigh) But.. oh well :)

I havn't noticed any ageist remarks to any of my posts :)
and just in case you were wondering, my memory is actually pretty good :p

Now I guess you'll just have to let us all know when the big day is so the Literoticans can make the big Quarter mark much more memorable. What do you say people. Firesprite isn't gonna get by with a non-event this year.

By the way, it's easier for me to remember the age of my kids than it is to remember my own.

At 97 I am the oldest virgin on the BB. I no longer have a hymen of course I donated it for skin grafts. Seriously I do not think age is a big factor in life. Physical health, family and friends are much more important. The BB is a great place to get a broad range of ideas. I value the people for who they are not how old. I mean where else beside k-marts would you meet a irreverant gun totin woman who has a wicked sense of the absurd (Deborah I am a Fan).
A collection of quick witted intelligent people who never fail to make me laugh or "Fart in your general direction" God Bless MP. A plaid wearing Scotssquash mingling with nubile beauties who fail to dress most of the time. So like what was the point I was trying to make? Oh hell I don't know except to say I enjoy you all!! Oh and the opportunity to sit in the power corner at least once a day wiggling on the pinnacle of the Guru's vast and broad wisdom.

Thank You Lamma manu and laural

I am pleased to say that I seem to be right in the middle of it all-I am 32,33 in the fall. I can barely remember being 18 or 20-I remember 10 really well and 28 was a big one. I love the fact that this site allows everyone to interact without age as an issue....
Ways to date a 30 something
we remember Scooby Doo before scrappy
we can sing most 60's sitcom themesongs
we ate pop rocks and zots
we listened to Rick Springfield and Shaun Cassidy

MMMM now I feel ancient-better go and put on my "Best of the 80's Album"

God there are so many babies here!
I am 22 and I had NO idea how old most people were on here, except those whose profiles I have read.

It's just really hard to tell when we are not used to identifying a person's age based on their behaviors sexually.

I'm 39, going onto 40 this year. I've resisted "old" jokes ever since my tenth birthday when I realized I wasn't a kid anymore and asked "What have I done with my life?"

Actually, I've been looking forward to 40 for a long time. I've always felt that I'd truly come into my own in my 40s. I've been around, I've had experiences, I'm finished "cooking" and yam what I yam, and there's a certain joy in knowing that. But I don't look 40. I don't feel 40. I don't act 40.

50 I'm a little freaked out about. But I'll deal with THAT later.

I can tell who's young on the board, but not often who's in their 30s or 40s, say, because some people at that age have had life experiences but haven't truly ever grown up.

I am looking forward to 40 although in no hurry to get there.

I don't want to say I "disagree" but, I feel that there are people that exist out there in literotica land that are younger than 30s and 40s that have had life experiences that have aged them in many ways and honestly, it may be hard to tell their ages. Although, Dixon, I don't doubt your ability in general as far as age guessing goes.

I agree with DCL. It's usually pretty easy to spot the youngsters - although you do sometimes get'em confused with the old and immature.

A person's age doesn't disqualify their opinions, but I think eveyone would agree that age, and experience even more so, effect those opinions greatly.

I disagree.

I, like, think it's SO totally wrong to think you can, like, tell someone's age from their posts, man. You know what I mean? Totally harsh. Get a grip, you old-timey weirdos.

Wise Lasher, wise. This is the perfect quote. I completely agree 100% (and no, I'm not slobbering over you). As I think back about the person I was and how I acted 10 or 20 years ago, I can see how the experiences in my life have changed my attitudes and opinions.

You hit this dead on the mark Lasher.

K2c...don't ever say things like that to him. It only encourages him. Get with it...we can't encourage the madness or it will grow out of control!

quick...someone tie his head down

Resistance is futile!

But I still liked it. Go ahead and hold my head down. I'll just stick my tongue out.

PS no resistance on my part.

Goody...I like men who work with me. Makes it so much easier! play along and I won't hurt you....much

Sorry about getting back on track here I have been gone awhile.

Age doesn't matter. I really don't think that you can tell the age of alot of members just by what they write.

Maybe you're right, Nicole...

I know from reading Jeff's posts that you would never guess he is 19... Seems A LOT younger to me.... Hehehehe...

(I'm gonna get in trouble for that one, ain't I?)

No Lasher why would you get in trouble for that???

I really have missed something haven't I????

My children are older than most of you. but I can speak to them in language that they understand and accept.

Can you believe it Southern...Lasher just blew us off and after the nice things we posted...Dammit Lasher post to us....

Well, it is truly time for the "oler set" to join in on the conversation here. As of July 26, I shall be 62 and available to collect Social Security, so all of you 'babies of the BB' please continue to work hard so you can pay my freight for the next thirty years or so. LOL

All jokes aside, I get up in the morning, read the obituaries, and if my name is not there, I go out and have a wonderful day.

Now, I am certain that there will be questions (I would hope there would be, from such an erudite group as this) about sexual relations at this age. It is not the quality of the sex that suffers, my children; it is simply the frequency. Not that we 'can't' but it just takes a oodle of time to convince anyone younger that it can be a rewarding experience for them as well.

That brings me to the question of the day.....you very young ladies....18 through 30, say, (I do not wish to offend the 30+ group, though)tell us how YOU feel about having a sexual relationship with a man old enough to be your father/grandfather? Is it a total turn-off? Is it something that is at least worthy of consideration?
