AMA - Bramblethorn

Do you watch MasterChef Australia? Do you have a favorite contestant from all the seasons? And since they mostly film in Melbourne, have you ever seen them film or participated in the challenges as audience? :)

I don't watch a lot of broadcast TV these days (maybe a year since I've watched free-to-air?) and as much as I enjoy watching cooking shows, reality TV tends to rub me the wrong way. So the only time I've seen MCA was when it was playing at somebody else's place while I was visiting.

But I do enjoy Great British Bake-Off. And although I only discovered him this time yesterday, I love this guy.

Don't have time to watch right now but looks like fun. Thanks for "Unca Roooja"! He's hilarious.

OMG - yes! Nat is my favourite thing to come out of lockdown. An all-round excellent individual, doing an excellent job of countering some of the less-great aspects of masculinity.

What's the oldest thing that you own and use regularly?

I have some family heirlooms that go back a couple of hundred years, but I don't use them regularly.

We have a knife set that's 20 years old, and some furniture that's around 18 years. Those might be the oldest things that I use regularly. I'm a little surprised that I can't think of anything older.

... but I don't have strong feelings about football,

Are you sure? This media release suggests otherwise.

Not the usual ”What would your perfect day be like?” but the same question I asked seela:

Do you have of those ”just a perfect day”-days you always remember with a smile, that you’d like to tell us about?

Hmm. I tend not to remember whole days, but there was a lovely time once where we visited a friend/lover in the USA and Extremely Sexy Stuff happened and then we caught a great Concrete Blonde concert.

Yes, it’s usually an evening or afternoon or so. The whole days are more rare.

I had to look up Concrete Blonde and I’m glad I did.
