Amanda Gorman's inaugural poem, The Hill We Climb, banned by Miami-Dade school

Because if they can read it, then it's not banned and their entire bullshit narrative goes off the rails again.
Yeah, they’ve been given verified links to statements directly from the district which clearly debunk the phony narrative. Per the district: No ban, no restrictions, yet the deniers are doubling down. it’s pretty funny. 😂

Have a cite for restrictions? Still waiting.

Without their false narratives they have nothing. What they don't realize is that their false narratives are constructed of nothing. That means no matter what, they got nothing.

I wish there was a way to get them to see how much misery they spread and create in their quest to prove that they don't have to obey or conform to reality. One could hope that they would see it, on their deathbeds if at no earlier point in time, but the reality is they won't. Not prior to the moment Fate cuts their life thread nor at that moment either because they will go out as they lived; stoned and stupid and believing that they're invincible and omnipotent.

They are literally a waste of the time and effort it took to gestate, birth, and raise them.

Best to be kind and just let them pretend the book was banned. It will make them feel better.

"removing it to another section" (effectively cutting the prospective audience in half) is de facto banning, no matter how much you and HisArpy want to wordsmith your rationalizations.

Negro poetry represents a clean 'n present danger to white supremacy.

Per district spokespeople and Review Committee meeting minutes, the book remains in the media center and there are no impediments to any student accessing it. When are you going to share the WSJ link that you claimed supports the “ban” narrative?

Still need a citation for this.

Books are being banned, nothing false about it. Throughout history only bad people have banned books.

I'm not interested in being kind to them. It's against my better judgement to allow imbeciles to think they run the world because the next thing you know 1 of those imbeciles will become President or Speaker of the House or Senate Majority Leader and screw us all.

No books banned! Some would have people believe that Florida banned books. This isn't true. What they did was insist that books be available to age appropriate young people. This is exactly the same thing that we have done since the 1960's with movies. We don't ban them, but we give them a content rating: G, PG, R, X and so forth. We even rate television shows in the same way. All of this is done ... and accepted ... as a good way to protect younger people from content that isn't appropriate for their age group.

The power of social media...any book banned is freely available online. Guess they didn't think that one out very well

The books aren't necessarily "free" in the meaning of "no cost." Nor is every book available since Amazon has banned the sale of some books. (Notably nearly all, if not all, of the banned books appear to be written by conservative authors.)

This is the premise as evinced by the fact that porn isn't available to minors. Under the outraged cry of progressives, such content screening is a "ban" and violates "free speech."

At least 1 author of one of the books subject to this screening is suing the State of Florida for violating his Constitutional Rights under this theory. I wish him good luck with that.

I can't help you don't know how to use search engines.

Actually 357 books have been banned in Florida in about the past year. WE don't give movies & TV shows rating, private entities do that.

Moving it to the middle school area of the library mean any elementary school student that would've had their lives changed and their minds opened up by it would have a much lower chance of coming across it. If it's in the area for the bigger kids then it must be for the bigger kids.

It's a good way to do a soft ban.

The Hubbard Cult has invaded parts of FL, are they infesting Tallahassee?

Not the point. You said that the books were "freely available" when it's obvious that they're not.
Yes...they are...as are almost all books if you know where to look. Feel free to search. If you get stuck...admit you suck and I will start helping you

Again, you said the books are "freely available." Not "if you know where to look."

At some point you need to admit that you fucked up and are now trying to CYA. You won't ever admit it, but it's obvious you fucked yourself by saying what you said.

Kids know way more than a wannabe lawyer. Freely available is freely available. Just because you are too stupid to operate a search engine isn't a big deal. Anyone can learn

^ this is what happens when you got nothing, know you got nothing, and then prove you got nothing to the entire internet.
