But still lurks, having had a bad week and wishing for it to simply be over to start anew. Makes everyone a cake before finding the blanket I've been using and going back to sleep*

*sneaks into the patch for some much needed "non-family" time, knowing she'd not likely get any time to dig out from her backlog, but pleased as punch that she finally had Internet access again*

*plopping onto a couch, she pulls her notepad close to her and tries to at least jot down some thoughts for future replies*

Strolling in for an evening nightcap and to see who may be about, I see our lovely hostess has returned from her absence.

"Hey Trouble!" I make my way to where she's ensconced in her noodling with a little bit of a nanna swagger to my step. I give her a warm hug and a sweet kiss on her cheek as I greet her en-route to the bar. "I'm having a nightcap... care for a refill while I'm here?"

A smile crosses my lips as I listen to her request to be kept filled, but I just nod and pour a second double... one for her and one for me.
