I let my head loll from side to side and groan as her thumbs work into my neck. "That good... but I need to get my beauty sleep darling... I still have more ditches to dig before my short break." I pick up my drink and empty my glass. I rise slowly and give her a tender hug and a soft buss on her cheek. "Thank you... and I hope you have sweet dreams and all the rest that make dreams so sweet."
 
*staggers into the patch and flops onto one of the couches in exhaustion*

Holy cow - why do holidays have to be so tiring?!?! Even more.... Why couldn't I have had play time for Mama?!?! :(

I hope everyone had enjoyable holidays... My apologies for my unexpected delayed responses.... If I can type up the things that I daydreamed during the icky drives, I'll be doing the nana dance sometime soon.

Sorry to have missed you. I survived a visit to my in laws...have a celebration with my extended family on Wednesday and then some needed quiet.

Hope you were able to make merry even if you are separated from your honey.

Better than the last couple of weeks and determined to end 2014 on a good note... Ifn I can get caught up on all my stories. :D
 
With a full belly and a head full of happy ideas, I pop in to noodle a bit and perhaps have an evening nightcap.

I give Angel a warm hug and a buss on the cheek. "Hey Trouble, glad you had a good Christmas. Things here are starting to return to normal too so that's a good thing."

Seeing Wolfias In his chair. "Hey there old friend, sorry to hear your mount broke, but I'm glad you got it fixed."

I carefully salt the rim of a rocks glass and pour a double tequila before wedging a piece of lime on the edge of the glass. I pour a few fingers og Glenevit neat and add the two drinks to my own before I make my way back to place the scotch next to Wolfias and the zulbub juice next to Angel. I sit on a nearby chair and raise my glass in toast.
