Angel's Little Patch of Heaven

*adopting her best pious expression*

Then again, it IS Sin City, so I would never be able to go... again

That is one thing I do miss about the corporate world, there was always a way to finagle one or two trips to Vegas a year.... After all, it's not only Sin City... It's where Sin and Decadence went to become Art! :D

I've only been to Vegas once... And it was for work. Was too young to be allowed to get my own rental car, and the gentleman they sent out to babysit me wasn't into going out.

My boss' wife who had traveled out with him asked me what I had seen (two days prior to departure) and was furious with Paul... And then proceeded to drag me around the strip from one sight to the next.

LOL... there's plenty to see, that's for sure, even if you never wager a quarter it's still a fun place to go. I remember waiting for my boss and the CEO to meet me at one of the main bar of the hotel we were staying at.. I hit the Video Poker machine for $600 not 5 minutes before they arrived. Later that same trip I sat a a blackjack table that just couldn't loose! They switched dealers on us four times an the whole table just kept winning! I went to bed $2,500 up.... but wound up giving it all back by the end of the week. Oh well.. it was free entertainment.

Lol, big roller... All I did was the one arm bandits... I had a roll of quarters in one pocket... Played from one pocket, winnings went in the other and when the play pocket was empty, I was done....

*sigh* even then I couldn't let go.... Sheesh!

I'm no big roller that's for sure! I've see guys roll up and down 10 - 15 K in a day. I've been fortunate though I usually broke even. My strategy was... if a show would cost $200 for the night then that was my budget. If the $200 was gone early, I went to bed. So it was the cost of entertainment for the night regardless. It just usually lasted longer than a show did. ;)

 *tries not to misinterpret his story and barely manages a straight face*

I, um, see...

LOL.. I'm pretty sure the Fire Marshal might have something to say about the number of candles I'd need.  ;)

*sighs deeply*

I think I'm going to head to bed early tonight, partner. Have felt off all this afternoon. Hope I'm not coming down with something. Maybe a good night's sleep will help.

LOL... we need a portable sprinkler system in here...

No problem... Sweet dreams and I'm sure you can take care of the rest... Hope you feel better tomorrow.

*gives HF a peck on the cheek* I feel so funky my batteries won't have to be replaced.

Sweet dreams to you as well...

I enter after a very long lie in... to the point where the term Good Morning, is merely a formality and no longer a statement of fact... I see My Honey with my old friend and smile.

"Hey Wolfias! How's it going my friend?"

I scoop my Honey up and give her a big twirling hug and a Hollywood kiss before returning her to the couch where she was snuggled with Wolfias. "Hey my Honey... It's great to see you. I've missed you this week."

I sit beside them and put my feet up as I take a sip from my travel mug of coffee.

Hey HF ol' buddy. Much better, my confidence issue has been rectified.

That's great news... plotting new stories is always fun.... I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

Wolfias my friend, you seem to be on a writing roll lately! ;)

Yeah, and I'm behind on my posts. When my muse awakens I'll catch up.

*pops in to kill time while waiting for her daughter to get out of dance team practice*

Hey Wolfias... How are you today?

Hey Wolfias... How are you today?

Seeing Angel pop into the place he grins as he's noisily ''sneaking'' up on her from the side

Hey Angel...I'm behind on my posts, but good.

I know how that is... my brain is all jumbled with potential ideas, but I've not felt well for the last day and a half and can't seem to pull a single thought straight through.

And I owe a certain someone a chatty PM and have been woefully neglectful.

The stories I'm back to writing in have multiplied, Scoundrels is relatively busy and a story with Mari's in the making.

Coolbeans... I'm hoping to start up a couple new ones myself as a couple of my stories are slower moving... But I don't want to do it at the expense of my current ones.
