Alright, I figured I'd let this thread settle at least for a while before responding.

How predictable. The fake empathy, the hostile posturing, the hypocrisy...

Bashing men - encouraged by men and women alike.
But talking positively about men and what women want - can't have any of that.
After all, men who are decent but who maybe put their foot in their mouths might actually learn what they're doing wrong. And since it's not just about first impressions, chances for less decent men would of course be reduced.

And some (admittedly naive) people keep wondering why it is so difficult to bring people together to help others. When it is so much easier to hurt.

The old saying "if you don't know" is basic men/women dynamic.

It isn't a secret game women learn at girl's camp, it's hardwired biology.

Women like a guy that is good with women. Preferably one they can observe being good with women. If you have to ask, they assume you don't have much success with women. And none of them want to be your guinea pig.

Post on the open forums and get to know them. Let them get to know you. If you aren't at least willing to do that, then you are simply a troll looking for wank fodder. That is how everyone you PM will view you, whether it's a man or woman. Show a little respect, it will take you places you never thought possible.

So this alt of yours has been around since 2006 (yet only seven posts) - one would assume with all this lurking you would have a clear idea of the flow of all things Literotica forum by now. So it is a shame you choose to reveal yourself as someone who reacts so negatively to other points of view. I'm sure if noone knocks on the PM door, judgements will now be made before the message is even read.

Now going down the assumption process, since you assume all the contributors and respondents to PM asshattery and here are men bashers, how many times have you featured in the PM asshattery thread?

So Mr seven post wonder - your ego has been dented before you have even tried to engage in conversation via the board threads. Why would any one react positively to random PM requests from a nobody?

This is what I suggest:

• Never send a mass of PMs. Message someone you're interested in and appears to be someone who'd be interested in you.
  [*]Never start with something dirty, unless they've specifically asked for that.
• Never cut and paste.
  [*]Proper grammar. Don't have it look like a text from a three year old.
  [*]Don't be that dude looking for wank-fodder.
  [*]Don't have a butt-load of desperate looking messages show up on "Find all posts."
• Don't try too hard. Be genuine.
  [*]Read a profile first.
• Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
  [*]No dick pics. Including your avatar.
• No reply to your PM? Maybe send a second one sometime later... After that, take the hint.

By the way... More than one of you ladies could benefit from this. It's not just the guys. I've had more than one asshat worthy initial PM.

Between Nip's post and the points I've highlighted that most piss me off, this pretty much comprises the key points. This is old territory that has been covered several times before in previous threads, so it's hardly a secret.
