There is no doubt that Eugenics has a long history of downright evil. However, I will argue the point, is the "hammer" itself evil? Or is the person behind it wielding the hammer and bashing people's brains in evil? Eugenics is a tool that can be used for good or bad. We are nowhere near the point where we can even begin to use it for good, simply because there are too many corruptible men in this world. Case in point :Mexico. Do I need to say more? The U.S. has it's fair share of corruptible men as well. However, this idea won't die with our politically correct era. Our children's children will one day bring this subject up again. First of all most of us think about whether we are gay or not because there is so much negativity around it. So if you aren't you spend a lot if immature years making sure you aren't and that everybody knows it. If you are, you spend years learning to live with you are -- despite the ideas that it means you are evil or sick.


As to dwelling on sex, realize that sex is a very POWERFUL force. Hormones also have a strong affect on just how powerful those thoughts are. In my case when I was young and single, I could only go so many days before I'd be crawling the wall and dying to fuck a guy. It wasn't all hormones, it was also some kind of yearning. If it was just hormones, then getting off (such as j/o) should have taken care of it. However, it didn't. Neither did getting blown. It wasn't just because the sensation was better when fucking, but also the emotional content. The guy had to be manly, masculine, hairy, yet at the same time affectionate. In my head, the most act of a real man loving you is that he wants you inside him -- to become as one. In essence I realized that this need have a man want me inside him was about looking for unconditional love from a father figure. I say that because I got desperate enough that I joined 12-step for sex addiction. While I had some success, the best success was when I was loved and loved another man.

So sure it is great to contemplate spiritual matters and not think of material wants, but you have to be self-satisfied to go beyond yourself to accomplish that. Examples:

But I don't have to like or accept it. Rather I just realize that it IS the way of life.

In the Bible they talk about an after life where the lion lays by the lamb. That really never touched me until lately when I have had to deal with predator/prey issues. I do want to believe in an afterlife where the eat or be eaten isn't the overwhelming rule of existence.

You are closer to the truth than you know. Despite your arguments for the material, I see you as a spiritual person my friend. Also, spirituality doesn't have to come from any form of organized religion where they make you pray repetitive stuff while you are on your knees.
