i was at a party once and one of the guests had been a professional entertainer and according to my friends he hypnotised me and had me performing all sorts of acts for their amusement ,i remembered nothing of this and had to be told about it later by the other guests and when i asked him about it he said all he had done was bring out my true nature .

It doesnt work on me. And I have been tested by some better authorities than "graduate school 30 years ago". I dont react at certain psycho drugs, I dont react at hypnosis attempts. I didnt get much explanation apart from "everyone is different". They were more impressed that some scrawny girl can withstand an amount of antipsychotic that would knock down a man of any size and still run around.
I had some serious shit trying to put me out in life, I truly doubt your amateur hypnosis would make a dent.

Saying you cant be hypnotized is like saying no one can make you breathe. All hypnosis is auto-hypnosis.

Some times you can not help your self, I find persons who are very submissive make good subjects, and once they are relaxed they will do as they are told. Some dont want want to show there real feelings, and hypnotism will help them to release their inner self. A subject will not do anything they dont want to.

We actually had a guy called Svend Erik Hamann, working as "Ali Hamann", who was convicted for "obscenity" and rape during hypnosis (sentenced to 2½ years in jail). Upon his release he continued with the hypnosis.

He died this spring from natural causes (aged 80).

What I would like to do is test the oft repeated statement that hypnotised people will not do anything that goes against their core values/belief system.

I've been hypnotized before and it worked on me. I had no memory of what happened but it was taped so I was able to see it all happen later on. I wanted to try it to get over some things in my life that were causing me some trouble.
