Anyone ever get tired of vanilla?

The term "Vanilla" is not just related to sex though; it is a cultural thing now where the term just means "plain" or "boring", so I have no issues with the term "vanilla sex".

I had an ex-wife that I feel was vanilla sex. Mostly it was because she wanted the same exact thing each time. It was better than no sex, but there was no sprinkles, cherry or nuts on her vanilla sundae, I assure you.

It was just boring sex no matter how much I tried to change that.

Is anyone else’s spouse here super “vanilla”? Ever get tired of being force fed the same old flavor every time, wife not interested in trying new things much. Have gotten tired of asking things and getting told “no”, or made to feel my idea is “weird” or “not pure”. Wife was a virgin before me, wishing she had more experience sometimes. What can I do to get her to “learn” more without being the one to bring it up every time?

for as long as I have had to go without sex, anything looks like gold right now... what can you do to get her to "learn" more? You ain't happy with what you got--, then man you need to get the hell out the way and let her find someone who knows more than you.

I got tired of vanilla about a month of having sex with my first girlfriend. I was luck to have found a woman who was willing to try different things sexually.
