That's great! I love Gregorian chants! They have induced some amazing states of mind (and possible visions, lol) in your Alchemist. I love many kinds of music, but classical music tends to draw me in, in a way most music does not.

I don't like it as background music, though. I need to be able to immerse myself.

Immersion is definitely the best way to enjoy and appreciate it. Though I must admit to often being a bit of a Philistine and using it as background music.

I'm not opposed to it as background for anyone who enjoys it! It just doesn't work for me. Oddly, I find it irritating and agitating as background music, and I can't explain why. When I can immerse myself, though, I love it!

Jazz or some kind of rock or pop make better background music for me. I'm a quirky alchemist, I suppose.
