Good morning sir!Morning dear court, hoping that we are all well and living our best lives
Morning! Also - morning?!? What part of the world are you in?Morning dear court, hoping that we are all well and living our best lives
Oh my word, cheeky Alchemist, you want your co-queen to have you on your knees like that?So @MiaBabe23 , you mentioned that you were trying to be good through Halloween?! Does that mean you have some good plans? A sexy costume?? Inquiring minds want to know.
And while I generally try to be a force for order and for good, sometimes your loyal Alchemist comes down on the side of chaos. I told you when I first joined the court that I have tendency to misbehave, lol!!
All that is to say, I know we aren't *supposed* to lead you into temptation, but I'm just going to leave this here.
Yes. And yes.Oh my word, cheeky Alchemist, you want your co-queen to have you on your knees like that?
I fear all points made previously to our tease Guardsman Rafe would lose all validity
Very interesting ideaEvening, Court!
I've been naughty all afternoon, so I thought I'd share something more thoughtful. I think this is true!

I take your point. I don't know if I agree that selflessness, idealism, reflection, and empathy are emotions, though. They strike me as reason being applied to, and admittedly influencing, emotion.Very interesting idea
I know it’s a bit of hyperbole, but personally, I think our emotions have evolved. Selflessness, idealism, reflection, profound empathy etc - not to suggest our hunter-gatherer ancestors had none of that, but I think it was much more fleeting quantities
I feel like this would constitute more cause and effect.I take your point. I don't know if I agree that selflessness, idealism, reflection, and empathy are emotions, though. They strike me as reason being applied to, and admittedly influencing, emotion.
I don't know if the basics have changed much, though.
In any case, I found it interesting!

Your attempt more than satisfies the penalty, my Queen. And regarding mischievous Alchemist’s penalty - I attempted it, but the number was beyond me rn
It would have required a minute and a half wallsit, and forty press ups
I managed just over a minute, and 22 - after that, my form was all over the place, and probably was before that
Is an attempt enough lol?
Thank you, mischievous AlchemistYour attempt more than satisfies the penalty, my Queen.
I couldn't do a minute and a half, either! When I started doing the wallsits again (inspired by you and others here doing them), my thighs were so sore it impacted certain recreational activities, lol.
Yes. Not so sore now, thank goodness.Thank you, mischievous Alchemist
And ouch to that!
Are you still doing them?
Sooo i don't need to give you a massage?Yes. Not so sore now, thank goodness.

And if those basics have led us to create god-like technology in spite of our mediaeval institutions (and they really aren't nowadays - they're either much older or much newer), doesn't that show they've stood us in pretty good stead?I take your point. As did I, and thank you for posting. In any case, I found it interesting!
I would submit that that there are many among us that hold the opinion that homo sapiens are full evolved and that we've created the best of all possible worlds. Our critical thinking shows that our ability to reason has evolved slowly over the millennia, yet our ability to use and invent new tools has evolved at a more accelerated rate. During the past two hundred years, our ability to harness nature and change the human condition has led to accelerated population growth and significant environmental degradation. Yet, our societies still cling to pre-medieval beliefs about our origins, moralities, and ethics. This does not bode well for the continuance of the best of all possible worlds. And if those basics have led us to create god-like technology in spite of our mediaeval institutions (and they really aren't nowadays - they're either much older or much newer), doesn't that show they've stood us in pretty good stead?
