i have *seen* some of them, but i didn't really pay attention or interest.

prefer film noir

I am going to fess up …the final two HP’s are two of my fave films. They are soooo dark. A far cry from the early films. And the plot amazes me. How she thought that up I don’t know.

Of course it helps that as my kids grew up, the other crap I had to watch meant even the early HP’s were a goddam delight in comparison

In A Lonely Place (just awesome). The Big Sleep (not as good as the book, but hey), M, The Big Heat (a CLASSIC), Beyond A Reasonable Doubt (the last 3 were all Fritz Lang films and you can't go wrong with him), The Third Man (THE greatest).
