Anyone from the UK?

Catching up on - OK, skipping through - the important news affecting the UK population since I went away for the weekend (with some sporadic visits to Lit when possible)

Seems nothing much has changed - the bin and biscuit debates continue unabated, unlike the wet weather ... and a couple of ne'er-do-wells have dropped in to tout for more than is to be expected :ROFLMAO:

I see also that Wand3r is now Wriggle's sex kitten apparently! What did he do to win her over I wonder? (If you haven't seen, her tagline is something about her pussy  )

And now I'm away in case I get the *stare* or eye roll ...

Welcome back @KeenVoyeur hope you had a lovely weekend away!

It is quiet on here today.... Maybe everyone is busy eating biscuits?
Thanks @Kat0069 ... Weekend was fairly relaxing - a lodge with a hot tub in Sherwood Forest, surrounded by nothing but trees (obviously) and birdsong with the occasional squirrel popping by. One decent day of warm weather, the next typically British (i.e. pissing down) but nice to unwind with a wander round the Forest and Clumber Park, both rather rammed with visitors doing stuff they really shouldn't - biking in the middle of the road, Segway riding in expensive sunglasses and presumably expensive overcoat, paying over the odds for basic meals ...

I'm on a diet now to get rid of the indulgences of the weekend so no biscuits for me!

Happy Wednesday to all.

Was it a Forest Holidays? We went to Keldy last year and it was wonderful. Didn't get as active as you, though. :D

Think I’ve been there. Nice water park and really over priced, under serviced everything - but great fun

Forest Holidays, Sherwood Forest - no water park (Not Center Parcs), there's only a central hub-type building that serves as Reception, Cafe, bar and gift shop ... cabin delivery for food orders (It's not bad, small menu choice and a bit expensive). It's what you make of it really - only about 70-80 cabins so there's not that many people about.

Didn't do a great deal - not us on bikes or Segways - just walking and lazing in the hot tub mostly.

Love the lazy hot tub days

From Keldy, I think you have to go off site for the segways. And we'd hired one of the beer machines so, you know... 🤷‍♀️🍻

We've booked for next year. Oh, I think I said last year? It was just this year. It feels like last year. :D

Sounds great. I have been to the forest, taken the compulsory pic of the major oak, but haven't stayed there. Must be nice in the morning before the crowds arrive.

Yes.
She's my pussy now.
FIFY  :ROFLMAO: (You wish- or perhaps you know better than I?)

Segways were on hire at Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre - the lady in question really was out of her comfort zone and going very very slowly

Didn't do Major Oak - I was there when Mr Hood and his mates were about  Because it was a nice day on Saturday, every man and his dog were in the forest ...
