Are you a lurker?

Yes, I do lurk quite a bit. I may not post a lot, but I...observe...the BDSM area is quite open and honest. It may not be as popular as the Playground, but quite a few residents (and friends) from here spend ample time there.

Yes I am a Lurker

I somehow found and started reading the literary side some time back. It was only recently that I found the forums and have been tiptoeing through this part of the country. This is by far my longest posting and it will no doubt take a long time to really dive in to feel ready to do much posting.
One thing I have found interesting is the few private messages I have received. I have never mentioned my age or sex and yet have had several messages that while the persons who wrote me always asked my sex, while they never mentioned their own. One at least asked if I was a man or woman, while another asked if I was a boy or a girl. All that before I had made 6 postings.
So, I will keep on being a lurker as I read, learn and enjoy the show. CC

Lol... 29,775 posts seems a lot of posts to me!!!

It really is okay to lurk; check in once in awhile and let us know you're here. We like newbies.

This is a pretty relaxed space to chill and there's a bar and even a blanket fort somewhere in the house if you need it. We haven't figured out how to get the "what's cooking" thread to deliver yet but we're trying!

So, you don't have to worry about being right or not very knowledgeable about any of the subjects. We won't even ask you if you are for or against pineapple on your pizza or whether you like white shoes, sparkly things, leashes or clothes pins.

Just pop in and say Hi!

I lurk a little bit, although when I first signed up to Lit. I would never have used that term for it. I might log in for 15 minutes while drinking my tea, before going to work. Just to see the latest pictures and comments from, what I have found to be, a very interesting group of people. Don't have time to post during these visits, and I don't want to unless I think it is something worthwhile.

When I do post, like many others I am drawn to the threads that interest me the most. I try to keep to whats acceptable, based on images or gifs that I have viewed previously. I might not get involved in many conversations, usually because I don't like to comment unless I feel like what I have to say will add something to the discussion.

If you look at the replies v views columns on the right hand side of the thread boards, the numbers are staggering. This thread has around 700 replies compared to 36,000 views. If all the lurkers decided to post, then the whole site would probably go into meltdown!

I love this place just the way it is... Lurkers keep on lurking, posters, keep on posting! :)
