When I first joined lit (not so very long ago ) I tried to respond to everyone as I was quite grateful for the PMs. However, now after seeing the energy some ‘lit-ters’ place within their posts, I’m less likely to respond to a one-line ‘hey baby, I’m circumcised and shaved, care to chat xxx.’ Additionally, I like to look at the profile before I respond and hope that someone will do the same for me. After all, literotica does imply a bit of literacy So, if someone PMs with a ‘married, 17, care to cam’ despite what I’ve stated, I’m less likely than before to respond. However, for those who are honest or if I’m not in the mood, I do like to say something, because it is a nice thing and a bit of an ego stroke when someone responds, no matter what.

And, in the same instance, I figure turnabout is fairplay. I believe it is someone else’s will to apply similar standards to me

To answer the question, yes, I usually respond. There are some I pass over, like guys telling me what they'd do to me. I have nothing against anyone's sexual preferences, but I just don't go that way
