AROUSE in Five WORDS, Part 7 (no links, pics, gifs, or arguments!)

the world cracks around us,
goosebumps, cold sweat, and terror.
all I want is you,
your breath in my ear,
your nails in my back,
and eyes to escape into.

something overwhelms me when seeing
the flat of your stomach,
the valleys between your hips,
the milk and the honey,
and the peace there within.

it’s thirst; it’s overwhelming wont.

i would drag my tongue,
desperate for your giggling minerals,
send your dimples into space,
respite in your rib bones,
find wonder from your freckles,
terror from feather duster fingertips,
indulgence in that sailor’s tongue.

it’s thirst; it’s overwhelming wont.
