Ask Molly thread...

Someone in a bad mood? :caning: lol

Not me. All I did was ask a question; a question that was well within the parameters of the original post....

One free question people... ask me anything and I'll answer (or attempt to;))

...but received only a non-answer. I just wanted to get a little clarification from the OP.

Well, now I know that you have no sense of humor. Thanks.

(By using the phrase "no sense of humor," I don't mean to imply that the question was a joke, but anyone who would respond in the way you did obviously takes life waaaay too seriously. The question doesn't ask for any specifics at all. In fact, anyone with or without kids could answer that question. It's not about children, but about your response to an impossibly difficult circumstance.)

By the way, you did post about children on this site when you responded the first time.

I actually have a good sense of humor. I didn't answer about my children. That was hypothetical. I don't joke about children or rape. I'm very sorry if I upset you. There isn't anything to joke about there though.

Oh, fair enough.
I mean, I read that, and I thought it was a bit of an unusual question. I also thought that she answered it fairly well.

I didn't quite get why you started calling people White Knights, illiterate, etc, and I don't know if you're aware of this, but you came across as pretty pedantic too, dude.....
Maybe a bit more serious than the thread was intended?

So maybe now we can all go back to having some fun, huh?

Molly - I still think you're avatar pic is gorgeous, but having checked out your profile, I'm officially smitten. ;)

Hi Molly,

I have a question for you, if you don't mind....

As a noob to the boards, what would be the one piece of advice you could give a newcomer to the lit forums?

Incidentally, your avatar pic is gorgeous.:)

JJ

Don't get discouraged by trolls. :) lol

seriously that isn't a stab at Ekserb. He just asked a question that I couldn't answer. I tried but didn't do it well.

I think you should just have fun! It's a "vacation" on here LOL

And I write stories too ;)

Ok, one more time: It wasn't a joke question. It is meant to get you to think about what you would think or do when faced with a really hard choice. If you can't be subjected to that kind of probing question, you shouldn't have asked for "any question" in your first post. You should have stated, "Ask me anything about sex, and if I feel like answering, I might."

Since you refuse to answer the question, I'm going to analyze the non-answer:

When I asked the question, I didn't say the hypothetical son or daughter had actually committed any crime. I only stated that the daughter accused someone of rape, or the son had been accused of rape. There's a huge difference, but in your mind I don't think you see it that way, since you assume in both cases that the male is guilty.

You said anyone who hurt your daughter would have to die. You said that your son would have to face the consequences. In neither case did were you able to put yourself in the shoes of the other parent.

My question has far-reaching implications. If your son were accused of rape, you might ask if the girl were making it up (it has happened). You might stop to think if your daughter were saying another boy had raped her, maybe she's lying. Maybe you're willing to pass a death sentence on someone else's son for something they haven't been convicted of doing.

If you had thought about the question instead of just casually saying, "Neither," you might see that it opens up a deep and interesting conversation.

Sorry to interrupt the sex topic. I'll let you get back to answering questions about threesomes and anal sex. Enjoy!

What name do you post under on lit, molly?

Should've asked that in the last response, I guess lol

I guess I am not able to put myself in the shoes of a parent faced with either of those scenarios. It's something I pray I never face. I also assumed in reading those that the accusations were true. I always tend to think the worst when it comes to that subject. The subject there is a little too serious for me to talk about. I apologize about that again....

If you want a deep conversation with me I'd be happy to answer something else that makes me think. Minus rape and children. I am not a shallow person at all. I am well educated. This site istn't something to really take seriously though....

I submit that "the worst" might be having your son accused and possibly convicted of a crime he didn't commit. I'd hate to be there when the police come knocking at the door to say that the girl across the street told her parents that your son raped her, and then you immediately assume he really did it. Yikes.

I'm satisfied. I only wanted to know if you were a thinking person or just a pretty bauble.

Good night.

Ok, here's mine, in three parts.

I keep seeing the phrase 'What would you do if you knew you could not fail?".

1) How do you see that question, what do you think the first person to ask it was thinking about?

2) Has it already become trite and cliche or does it have some impact still?

3) What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Having your son accused of a crime he didn't commit would be bitter. I would always question him whether he did it or not. I'd stand by him either way though. I'd be angry as hell if he hurt someone and It'd take a long time to heal if ever. Being a mother is an unconditional love though...

either instance of a daughter getting hurt or accusing and lying about such a sensitive subject would both me two of my worst nightmares.

ok people... I'm not running for president. Let's slow down on the serious things eh? I'm here for fun.... now let me "attempt" this one!

I assume it was a career councilor to a high school student who felt he or she would fail anything they attempted... just a guess...

I think it should have impact, and we should all ask ourselves that. Acting as if we could not fail could have a positive effect. It could make us try things we wouldn't otherwise attempt. However, it could have a negative effect and cause one to be too cocky (for lack of a better word)...

If I could not fail I would start a business that puts my creativity to use. Graphic design, writer, scrap booking... and so on.

right now, would you rather suck a nice hard cock or have your pussy licked laviciouosly?
