Why are harassing trolls not removed from the politics forum? Rather than just have an "ignore" feature, why not enable the Original Poster to block a specific individual from commenting in their threads? Ignore still leaves the turds on my lawn. That's wrong and you know it.

Have you ever watched basketball? When there is a talented player, the opposing team will do anything to get him off the court. I've been holding my patience for quite some time, simply clicking "report" on the half a dozen trolls who have been harassing me, hundreds of times now....and you, the person responsible, have failed to respond. All I'm asking for is the ability to remove the dogs from my lawn that are shitting on it. To ban people from my posts, which "ignore" does not accomplish. In the alternative, ban the troll list I will cite in my subsequent message to you.

Funny enough, I played and coach basketball. I think the bigger issue here is the self-importance you are experiencing here. This isn’t your site. You aren’t forced to use it.

Also, restating this since you do not seem to understand what I stated earlier, I am not a moderator for the politics board. There is no moderator for the politics board. Reports from that forum go to the site owners. If you don’t like their response, why would you stick around?

There has been a glitch going on the last few months where for some reason Laurel-the person who handles submissions-is not able to 'see' the story in the que.

You need to click on pending and then resubmit the story to refresh it in the system.

Your Control Panel is the master source of data, the other stream hasn't refreshed yet.

If it's still showing as Draft, go back into it and go through the submission cycle again. It's glitched. Once it goes from Draft into Pending, don't touch the story or it will go to the end of the queue. As it's your first story, expect to wait at least a week - new writers get more scrutiny, to make sure their story complies with the content rules.

Yes. There's a time setting somewhere in your set-up options.
