Table Manners
When I first read one UK man’s stories and sent him praiseful feedback I had a question too; I did not understand the word ‘plating’ even in context. He wrote,
“Plating is a North of England expression (I think) and is a synonym for cunnilingus, although I imagine it to be specifically the part of the shenanigins where the tongue, whilst between the lips (vaginal) is flattened and licks upwards to stroke across the clitoris. Like licking a melted chocolate candy wrapper or dinner plate when the bread has run out for sopping up the juice/sauce.”
I wrote back, “Plating—wonderful use of an ordinary expression; I like licking a dinner plate as the virtual etymology. I shall observe my dinner partners more carefully from now on, perhaps ask for a demonstration on fine china.
Some time later I sent a flirty PM to the bloke: “Cleaned your plate yet?” He replied with a
