She's gone already. She couldn't put up with any more of his shit until Sunday. It sounds like he's getting more and more back into the drugs and criminal activities that involves.

This is a man of 32 who seems to have the emotional maturity of a gnat. She now realises that he's been taking advantage of her and probably telling her lies throughout the whole 16 months they've been together. She's insisting that he pay her back the money he's "borrowed" (what she can get out of him anyway) and make an effort to see his son - she's not going to bother running around after him if he can't make an effort too.

She rang on Tuesday night while I was at the gym, and she and Sir had a long talk. I rang her back yesterday. She was at her brother's but going back to her place to pack up more stuff and head off to her dad's. She'll stay there for a while and get herself organised to move into her late uncle's vacant house.

She's very hurt and was blaming herself but we both have told her that HE fucked up not her and she has no reason to feel guilty. He said much the same thing that my ex said when I left him..."I didn't think you'd really go" LOL isn't he the stupid one!

So sorry all this has been happening for her. Is good she has seen the reality and taken positive steps to ensure her and the baby's safe future. My thoughts and prayers are with you both as I know how difficult it is being so far away at times like this.

More shit from NZ...my daughter texted me last night to say she's just found out her ex is on P (ice, meth, speed). "What a dick" she said. I totally agree. I'm so glad she's out and away from all that.

She wants him to sign a paper to change the baby's surname from his to hers. I hope he does. She really wants nothing more to do with him now, and I don't blame her. Unfortunately he's baby's father and she will have to deal with him at times, especially regarding child support issues

Sir believes he may have been taking speed as well as smoking pot before she even left, judging by his erratic moods.

On a brighter note, baby is 5 months old and on solids now, growing lengthways not so much outwards but a happy and healthy little boy

Sir had a bad reaction (upset tummy) to some antibiotics but is back to normal - in fact the tapeworm is well and truly awake He had His fistula ballooned again last month. Every 4-5 months seems to be the norm. I have had a week off gym due to a sore back but went to spin this morning and all seems ok. I'll give weights a rest for a few more days though!

BANDIT didn't mention I again jumped into a racecar for a race at the speedway where I spun a car & got spun by another, I had a fantastic time of it.

Poor BANDIT was as usual worried about me suffering with pain specially the next day BUT we were both shocked as I had no more pain to any other day unlike previous times I've had a race when I've ached for days after.

Mothers Day here tomorrow so we are taking my mum to lunch, Aussie seasfood too, yumm.

I have also got some other stuff comming up like getting a skin cancer cot out on Tuesday & also waiting for a hospital bed for the dreaded camera up the butt, they found a large thingy they cut out so that has us a little stressed but we are getting away from it all soon with a Aussie thread LIT meet which should be fun catching up with old friends & new too.

Resurrecting this thread with the news that Sir is in hospital waiting for surgery for bowel cancer, which was found during a colonoscopy on Tuesday afternoon Aussie time.

The operation was originally scheduled for today, but postponed due to a lack of beds in HDU/ICU. Thank you NSW premier Barry O'Farrell. Your cuts to healthcare made Sir's wait for the colonoscopy 4 times longer than it should have been. He saw the specialist last April and was supposed to have the procedure within 3 months, but it was more like 10. The surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning, let's hope it happens this time.

He had a CT which showed that other than a couple of small dark spots on His lungs (which they are not worried about) the cancer doesn't seem to have spread beyond the bowel. The tumour is almost blocking His bowel though which is partly why He's been admitted so quick - it's being classed as "emergency surgery".

The plan is to do keyhole incisions and remove about a foot of bowel on the right side of His abdomen, and join it up again. He MAY have to have a colostomy bag but if He does it may or may not be permanent. My father had one for 24 years so I am not worried about having to deal with this.

Me? I'm stressed, tired and pissed off that this has happened to us. I say US because we both have to deal with it. We are a team. We work together to do home dialysis so He can stay as well as possible. This is yet another kick in the guts that we didn't need

Sir had His surgery on Friday, and He will be home tomorrow (Tuesday) after dialysis at the hospital. They want to keep Him doing it there for a couple of weeks though until He's back on His blood thinners (next week) and no sign of bleeding.

That's a pain in more ways than one because of His arthritis but it'll only be for a short time until they get things sorted and then we can get back to normal schedule.

I'm so happy the operation was a success. I look forward to his continued good progress and you both getting back to more normal lives.

Damn the delays in health care. It can make sense from a financial bottom line effect but it sure makes it difficult when you are feeling the effect of it personally.

I'm so glad they would this in time to do something about it. Glad to hear Gil is over the hurdle of his surgery and is moving towards his recovery. Here's hoping it's a speedy one.
