I can only imagine the conspiracy theories, lol. But it’s not like the whole damn internet was down. I’m just trying to figure out how Lit Chat specifically is related.

Not gonna lie though, seeing “Is Lit Chat down?” threads when I logged in took me back to the good old days here.

Hey, at first I thought it was a glitch but now I think I may have been banned. I was in some rooms because I was trying to find out who was creating them and report it. Then I couldn't log in any more. I won't go in those sort of rooms any more, even to investigate. I didn't think my account would be banned from chat. Please help!

Well now I've just found out that I was banned for trying to find out who was creating the rooms with hate speech in the titles. Apparently, Lit mods will let the person creating hate speech rooms continue, but not someone trying to expose it.

That explains a lot.
