Same here, except for the frowning bit. Or Elle's frog I'm just not a selfie taker. Or a pic smiler. I get so incredibly uncomfortable I have actually had people put the camera down and say.. What the hell are you doing? Hah!

Thanks! It wasn't confidence that spurred it, more like necessity - I just didn't have the time or energy to mess with it. It does change your view on femininity in a way.

The short hair was about 3 years ago - my avatar is me now. Thanks. I think we are our own worst critics. Smiles are universally sexy.

I DESPISE photographs. it's very challenging. G has me send him one each day now, and it's been very interesting to meet this task. I have enjoyed however the 'team atmosphere' of the lit tits thread, which has been a bizarre thing: taking the images I hate, and pairing them with some pleasant exhibitionism. It's.....so confusing!

I like this challenge. I have a friend on FB who posts a pic of herself after she works out. At first it seemed weird but now it feels courageous! She's single so no one at home to answer to. She wants to overcome her shyness and self esteem stuff so she rallied us to help face her fear of being seen and working out. We're her virtual community holding her accountable.

By the way, you have a lovely 1/2 face up now.

I presumes short hair was a newer picture, because I think avatar picture looks younger! . More balance in life? Accustomed to the life changes? Any way, both great.

I think long hair is actually easier to manage than shorter. I'm growing out a long bob and I can put it up and tie it back now and that makes me happy.
Long hair for me is wash-n-go, shorter hair needs to be fussed with.
