Oh, thankyou. It's actually an old fet face pic that I've heavily edited (not brave enough to have an unedited one as an av) so I suppose it fits with the theme of this thread.

Oh, I have one you can ridicule me over! Mostarda! So beautiful, yet so vile, it's like a cruel, cruel trick. I do wanted to love it :(. And jellied eels.

I am not keen on stuff, sure, but some of it I work on. I used to hate fennel, so I ate it and ate it and ate it; now it's one of my favourites :). It was worth it to me to appreciate it. I want to appreciate bitter, grilled chicory, so I eat it at every opportunity. I don't choose crudo meats to be cooked , I think that tastes odd and de seensuslused the texture, and I rarely enjoy smoked cheese and prefer unsmoked bacon. Smoked meats of fish though....


Other stuff I eat for the experience or for good manners. :)

I'd never even heard of mostarda! Jellied eels I've never tried, and nor do I think I ever will.

I suspect I could skip a few things and risk the lack of experience, but in terms of manners I'd definitely eat something that wasn't to my normal taste.
