There is always health risks of course, but that is greatly diminished with age. When I found myself dating at an elevated age, it was not uncommon for the lady to smile, and let me know she had a hysterectomy, or had her tube tied, or had been awhile since she had been on a date. That was usually followed up with a twisted smile and a statement that I didn't need to use a condom. In fact I only used one once, and then when we had sex the next morning, we didn't bother using another one.

Along the same lines, I used to let the ladies know that I have had a vasectomy. Once we had established that neither of us we're in the habit of sleeping with loads of random people and there was no risk of pregnancy, bareback was the norm.
