being in love with someone you shouldn't be

Sometimes....

Love fucks you over and even when you know it's wrong with your brain, your heart tends to do its' own thing. I had a cousin ( by marriage ) that I fell in love with in high school~we went our separate ways and both had families of our own.... But recently I exited my relationship of years and he is single and we have transitioned to living together. We love each other thoroughly and take care of each other in every way.... And just.... Yeah so I know your situation is different completely but somehow this seemed he appropriate place to put this.... It's been eating me alive.... Are we so very wrong?? *sigh* To be so in love and doubt the propriety of it under ANY circumstances is a shitty hand to be dealt :-(

'The heart has its reasons, which Reason knows not'. You won't reason your way into or out of love, since it is not by any means reasonable. As others have said, it's not to say don't do it: it's to say, be aware that the choices you make in such circumstances are all loaded ones.
