Then I envy you because that was one of the main hi-lights that I was looking forward to, I love heights they make me quite orgasmic lol in Sicily we drove over a bridge so high that we were looking down on sky scrapers and ohhhhhhh the excitement! Not too keen on underground enclosed spaces though but I will do them just to prove they won't beat me but it's no fun and I get out as soon as possible!

LOL.. I know what you mean, Annie! I am not sure how happy I'd be driving over a bridge where I looked down on skyscrapers, since I have little faith in road crews to keep potholes under control, much less engineering roads in thin air. :) But I have gone skydiving and would love to do more of that.

Thank you for the lovely sentiments about Vegas. It is a lovely place as you've described and for all of it's tawdry gaudiness, one I enjoy each time I've been. I love the dichotomy of man-made fun and amusements in such a profoundly beautiful and austere landscape! And I've been BY the Grand Canyon i don't even know how many times and NEVER seen it! One of these days though!

I hope you are feeling better and glad those cushions could help, sweetie!

I'm up and down one minute in tears that I will never be well again the next wondering if maybe I just made a little progress. Oh to be back in that old familiar rut where the biggest worry was what to cook today. I've only managed to cook breakfast once since I got home and that's because I was fed up with hard bacon!
Still trying to keep the sense of humour intact and must try and write again ...... forgive me if rubbish comes out!

Recovery can be slow, and sometimes seems hopeless. Just do it a day at a time.
I'll try and keep you in my prayers.
PS
I'm used to rubbish coming out when I write.

What happened to the OP? I've been lurking & following this thread for a while now. Unpredictablebijou seems to have just dropped off the face of the earth.

I couldn't find the 25-year-old, and couldn't afford the 30! This is pretty good stuff though, and it's 5:00 PM somewhere...:D

Oh! I am wounded!

Hmmm... how about chocolate? I'm sure you've had these before...

Are they Hershey kisses? I've heard of them before but no we don't get them over here .... not heard very good accounts of those either >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>runs!

Yes, they're Hershey kisses. I've never known of a single case of illness such as you describe. I suppose it might happen if someone were lactose-intolerant - they are milk chocolate, after all - but only a few people in the US are, and whole generations of people eat them like - candy!:D

Would I steer you wrong?

I live about 20 minutes from Hershey. I am lactose intolerant, but never had any trouble with Hershey kisses. The only physical problems that I have ever heard associated with Hershey's chocolate is the death of a worker who fell into the mixing machines. ouch.

Hershey's really a nice area. When you get close to the factory, you can smell the chocolate. The streetlights are shaped like Hershey kisses. It's kinda cute.

Hey wait up who said anything about illness? I went on a website ages ago and there where a lot of comments saying they didn't like the taste of them, mainly Europeans (no not just English)so perhaps it's an acquired taste

Nothing wrong with Hershey's kisses in my opinion, much like other milk chocolates. I much prefer semi-sweet chocolate.

I do love those peanut butter cups though and I believe they originated from over there.

Well, here you go then! I have to admit, they're one of my favorite treats, too.

I must have misunderstood your previous comment:

Sorry about that!
