Howdy hon! I am stuck working...blech! I should be off in another 4 hours or so, so at least I have that :) Fortunately I work from home so I can be sneaky and peruse lit every so often for a break!

Yuck, 4 HOURS til you get off?!?!?! That sucks the big FAT one! LOL

I'm out of class now, but sadly I have a bit of homework to do tonight. I have to write the outline for a 10 minute speech on China! Such good fucking times I can barely contain myself. YUCK!

At least you can be sneaky and get your Lit fix in while working :D

This is actually a military class I am in, so I can't fuck it up or I won't graduate from it.

In my REAL school though, I am majoring in Computer Information Systems at Florida Institute of Technology :D
 
Yikes...okay, scratch that suggestion to peruse lit while doing your homework!

CIS is the way of the future, it seems. My husband's a developer/engineer...I got an associate's in computer science (couldn't afford to continue on for a bachelor's). Any one particular area you're interested in?

Not at the moment, I want to keep options open but still get schooling in the latest technologies and software :D

And yeah, not an option to blow this shit off...sadly enough.

That's a good idea...I know my husband still studies hard to keep up on the latest and greatest. Makes him a good dev!

Good luck with your schoolwork! This definitely sounds like a course you should work hard to do well in!

Keeping up with the latest tech is a pain in the ass if you don't have the money to buy it. But I still do what I can to research everything new that comes out, be it hardware or software.

It is a hard class, but not because of the coursework. While the coursework isn't by any means simple, being away from home makes it a lot harder to concentrate.
 
Gaaaaaaah.

My free email address associated with my Lit account was closed (I left it idle 6 months), and so Lit froze my account until i updated it with a new valid email. After waiting hours to get the validation email, I log back in to see that, while all my PMs are still there, ALL my subscriptions to my frequented threads are gone! :(

So if I usually stop by your thread to visit and suddenly stop, it's not because I don't like you, it's because I need to re-subscribe. I'll do my best to get everybody added again :)

Well so far I've had decent luck recovering most of what I lost. Some of the threads hadn't been posted in for a very, very long time, so i might be out of luck there, which is a huge bummer!

I'm doing decently enough, how about yourself? :)
