*bites lip in anticipation*

Anybody else in the area feel the 3.5 earthquake we just had? :)

I didn't feel a thing. I don't live that far away from it as the crow flies. I guess I always miss the good stuff? Did you feel it?

I was not far from the epicenter either, but didn't feel a thing (which is funny because a friend in Tanasbourne thought she felt an earthquake before the news reported there had been one). There was an aftershock around 3:30pm today, but it was only 1.6 so definitely didn't feel that. Still, a little bit scary!

Thanks ru! Fortunately even when we get earthquakes they're pretty small. The biggest one we've had in my lifetime was about 70 miles away and a 5.8, so it's not something we're generally too worried about. *knock on wood*

Still though, it's a bit scary when it's just a mile or two away :)

I remember that one. Nice early morning wake up. Was married at the time. She was standing in bedroom door screaming as loud as she could. Nice thing about living here, we generally have nice weather and no big problems to deal with. I do think my dogs felt it. They ran around barking. I was thinking what the hell shut up. Now I know what set them off. Didn't even hear about the aftershock. Glad your safe and sound.

I was out of town when that one hit...I was in middle school, I think. But I know I was up at my grandparents' place in Washington near Olympia when it happened. I didn't feel it (slept right through) but my parents and grandparents were awake and felt it.

The news didn't seem to cover the aftershock. I only found out about it because I checked the USGS website.

I agree, western Oregon is great for most things. Temperate, no hurricanes or tornados (well, rarely) and it's beautiful pretty much year-round. The volcanos and earthquakes are the only concern, but fortunately they don't seem to act up too often!

Just discovered your thread for the first time and went through page one....You're very lovely. Thanks so much for sharing yourself.:rose:

Soooo...nothing quite like having your 6 month old colt bite your breast because he thinks you're not paying enough attention!

Hope everybody else is having a better start to their week :)

I wouldn't bite maybe nibble just a bit...;)

Fortunately it's just a small bruise...he is a baby so he doesn't really, truly bite. Just gives you a nip so you notice him. He is going to have to have his manners adjusted!

What's bothering me more now is this head cold, blah. I don't like being sick and I don't like the loopy feeling cold syrup bestows. I am downing vitamins like crazy in the hopes that will rid me of it more quickly!

How is everybody else doing this week? :)
