Possibly because you might understand how much pressure builds up within the legs of a submissive in this pose over time. If she's not struck once, the pins and needles she will experience when granted release from the position after (oh let's be nice shall we?) ten minutes will have her in agony for a good five. How many times could she manage it, or how many times would it amuse you to make her try again? Because I imagine they might be two very different numbers, there. ;)

And yes... I think you hit the nail upon the head for why it appealed to me. I could probably stay like that, even in those shoes, for a bit longer than ten minutes thanks to horseback riding muscles.. but I'd be a quivering mess after that. Which is an attractive thought.
