Well, there are preferences. People are allowed to have them, but to choose to sex someone up only because of a color seems suspect...but up to the two parties involved. So, what is a one night stand no matter the race?

It certainly can be, but if I prefer petite women compared to bbws, is that also discrimination? desire is not always explainable. If our desire is driven by social factors of race and racism - then yes, it is racist. But if they are driven by our own interests and desires, it is just that, a desire, an orientation.

Sometimes we may desire something/someone just to disrupt normative ideas. While interracial dating and sex is more acceptable today, a few decades ago, some might have pursued it intentionally just to counter the racist expectations. But is that also then not a form of racism???

It seems like a lose-lose situation...

Nobody wants to be just another fetish based on the way they were born. Do tall women want to be loved only because they are tall? Being attracted to a beautiful woman is natural, as is having a preference for certain physical aspects, which might be summarized as a "race", or perhaps just a collection of traits. Or, perhaps a man and woman are attracted to each other without a second thought to trivial matters like skin colour.

Having an expanded mind, being open to new experiences: that's what makes life interesting.
