I'm going out to Phoenix area next weekend appreciate any tips. I have 2 weeks there and a little free time. I've never been there.
I travel about 50-70% of the month between Charlotte & DC area, started this routine about 4ish months ago. I’m not the type to go out to dinner by myself and strike up conversation but desperately want to be that type! Lately work to hotel to work to hotel is taking a toll on me.
Any tips for a shy girl to get out there more? I seem to make it to the parking lot then social anxiety takes over and I talk myself out of it, ha. Maybe because I am married, shy and it’s out of character for me but it would be nice to have a nice night out with conversation and such. I feel like I’m out of the game on this one and too young to be!

I’m shy and introverted myself. But my advice is just that the bar is your friend. It’s usually full of like minded travelers that like to sometimes like to have a conversation too
Thank you! A lot of the messages I’m getting also pretty much mention the bar will be my friend. Looks like I just need to suck it up and force myself out of my little comfort zone.
