It is not so much there are all male hotels, it is that most women traveling hide themselves away in their room at night. I have seen it many times where women will order a drink at the hotel bar and then take it back to their room. I guess their toys are more fun and satisfying than being with a real guy. What guy can compete against a BOB. lol

Some of us call BOB the backup plan.. and have a few drinks and dinner at the bar.

Unfortunately I believe you are the rare exception among women. I think BOB and the backup plan is the plan for most women. I sometimes see a group of women down at the bar but the single woman at the bar is very rare. I think for most women traveling that BOB is enough for them and they don't need or want more which is tragic.

Interesting thing I was watching this K Drama on Netflix and the women and men in the office had separate team dinners. The women were all having a great time, singing at Karaoke, drinking, dancing among just themselves. All the guys left right after their dinner was over because there were no women and they were bored. I was thinking this was so true. Women can have fun with no men around but generally men do not have fun if there are no women around.

So, been awhile since I've been on lit, and my screen name is little deceiving , but am a mwm, traveler and bi. Being that most hotels seem to be males and the few of the lady travelers seem to have BOB's and disappear, there are can be some opportunities for bi encounters. My advice, drink wine, and if you strike up convo, make a remark on the lack of ladies...if he's looking for male company, the convo may take off.

That’s a big negative here. Got up too early for my flight out west and was fighting sleep at about 8:00 Pacific time. Not a good luck for attracting the opposite sex!
