Glad for the deadline extension - the omnivorous side of the family got food poisoning - I spent most of the day Friday and all that night nursing my son, and all day yesterday in bed myself.
I think I can put the final polish on it by tonight, but I may have to scale back a bit in terms of overall composition.

Don't think I can make this one, unfortunately. 
Had too many post-holiday distractions on top of having to work and I really should've started my idea before turkey day. I suck at scheduling my creative time, honestly. I hate turning in something half-assed and it's not fair to keep extending the deadline, so I'll fold my hand this round and get in on the next art train.

I considered that, but the penciling is not even at a point where I'm happy with the depth of the sketch being finished. It's like having bones without "meat." If I had gone to ink stage, I could be satisfied with showing it as is, but...you know how it is. If it ain't truly finished, it's just not to be done!
I'll finish what I started later and post it up in my own art thread.
