Challenge & Invitation: Self Portrait in Blue

I know they're not due yet... here it is, lest I forget.

Self-Portrait (in blue)

I can't see my back,
but imagine, slow swoop
of spine below a curl,
ridge of shoulder gliding
beneath my skin,
a mole, detracting
from the monochrome sepia
it dances with a muscle,
flexes and I embrace
the pillow.

Turn the lights off,
wash my thighs with midnight
blue; glamour the rest
with stardust glitter
descended from its capture
in the leafless twigs
of spring. The budding tips
swollen, showing black
against a blue moon, full
and shining moment caught,
ecstatic.

Does it count if I wrote the poem two years ago and just realized it works well for this challenge? :D

Got no ideas... Is it ok if I write a self prostate in blue instead?

Reflections of Blue

Here goes folks...

Reflections in Blue

The reflection of an image
One that I know so well
I’ve known it all my life
Its secrets only I can tell.

As a child I hardly noticed
This body change its shape
It matured into adolescence
Suddenly knowing of my fate

No longer childish puppy fat
Or pimply spotty face
I found myself running
In life’s hectic race

Chased wildly in my youth
After who knows what or where
Scattering in life’s breeze
Love I should hold with care

Now I reflect in placid blue
Upon this aging face
To accept me for what I am
Growing old with pride and grace…

Selena's Self-Portrait in Blue

I feel fine-tuned, delicate,
every part of me wound,
wanting to be unsprung.

Maybe just a clinging vine,
winding my way ’round,
tendrils unfurling sunward,

or a tender, fragile bud
waiting to be pressed open
by the heat of your breath,
the weight of your world

until

I am blooming, fragrant, wild,
exposed and trembling
in your hands.

Penetrations

There are places in you
That I want to reach with my cock,
my eyes, my heart.

It is said that tantric masters fuck
corpses to know their own death.

It is said that Shiva touches the red heart
of black Kali as he dances erect beneath her.

It is said that from the dreaming belly of Vishnu
rises the lotus flower of the world, the Servant inside.

There is a sleeping serpent coiled at the base
of my spine. Eros is his name.

Awake! What am I waiting for?

See-level
by My Erotic Tale ©

'see' level

A tapping rhythm of fiber glass and water
as oars slip in and out of the wetness
like a finger in the dew of love,
dripping as it rises and falls,
in and out of the wet world
below the plane of 'see' level.

Slicing the surface like words whispered into an ear
that stirs the wake and ripples
the water in ribbons of thoughts
hot breath on the neck
from a warm southern breeze
across the river of lust
paddling 'A' channel
of 'Be'wilderment
at the possibilities of a 'C' level.

Muscles tighten and strain
then release in a push and pull from tight grasps
projecting forward in short burst
from the oars thrusting driving force
eye to eye with the spray of wetness across the stern
the motivation of a canoe
looking at the world from 'see' level.

wind swept red golden tendrils
swirling around sun kissed shoulders
straw cowboy hat and sunglasses
painted toe nails, long legs and sandels
music on the air
glimpse from the corner of your eye
enough to draw the moment out in sweeping focus
curve of breast, down to hip and into swale
how they all burn in lust and long for a fingertip feather touch
but she is nothing more than jasmine scent and memories floating on the air...

it is behind my eyes
a pointilistic portrait in blue
you connect my dots
you, my blended wash,
your tunnel vision blinders block it all
oil filter insurance premium prescription bottles
all disappear when you meet me here
behind my eyes

Don't make me put a blush on that illustration. ;)

Thank you.

Hmmmmm a slight touch of red on teh cheeks, could be an interesting contrast...... Hmmmmmm

ok here's mine for the erotic revelation revolution

Candle light and roses, dinner done just so
The romance and seduction of things going slow
Tender kisses soft caresses, soft music plays
Her silken robe slides off, on the bed she lays

QUick and dirty, in the woods fucking and laughing
Running giggling to the tree then wild oral crafting
Taking the chance of getting caught in the act
Holding hands and laughing as to the trail we track

In darkness she's held with the blindfold tied
Arms and feet to each corner, open exposed and wide
I taunt and torment her, enslaved and enraptured
Please her tease her, bound kept and captured

Then just before dawn, as dark to light grows
I hold her to my chest and feel how our love flows

rewrite of an old pen...

Sara-Garcia3_10.jpg

a cosmic comic
stirring paternal river
body deep
an artesian circulating heat
radiating lust
weeping upon petals
of withering blossoms
gathering elemental dust
refining shades of blue
renewing whats left
of me and you.

Thank you!

I want to thank everyone for contributing to this challenge. It’s really intriguing to get a glimpse into your erotic hearts and souls…

bluerains…two poems, a transparent night blue layered watercolor from the past and a current smooshy wet cerulean acrylic…

Champagne…a revealing silhouetted fan dance in the ecstatic moonlight…

SelenaKittyn…an inspiring plea for pressing revelation of the sweet, tender and wild petalled gift of her blossoming center…

Angeline…a stunning wave breaking with slow shudders onto the poetic shores of her body…

My Erotic Trail…a schooled fish-eyed view of the ABC’s of maritime lust and metaphor…

Sabina_Tolchovsky…an au naturale femme fatale with a mirage for a heart, don’t you love her as she’s walkin’ out the door…

Willows_Tears…a clarifying and passionate vision of eros behind the scenes…

Salvor-Hardon…a playfully devilish and devilishly playful romantic romp…

White Warlock…a reflective reminiscence of the full wingspan of eros…

Bravo!

Humbled,
S&D

thank you for the inspiration, and for taking the time to comment on all of the participants, I am sure that is not easy to do!

My pleasure, truly. <smile>

I apologise for not being able to finish a worthy piece on time for the deadline, but life has ways of getting in the way in less than pleasent fashion. I will post my submission when it is ready, though. Thank you for the challenge, S&D.

call it "fashionably late" and claim you were waiting to make a grand entrance, and no one will know the difference ;)
