Challenge .... Is it Erotic? Or is it Porn?

I'm willing to put ALL poems up separately but if you want all this passing back and forth then someone else can take over and run my challenge. I'll just back down.

I'd put them up separately as you originally suggested with no assignment to either porn or erotica and no identification. Then let the readers label them porn or erotica and also guess the author. That way most of the grunt work is done in the thread and all you have to do is collect by PM and distribute to the designated thread. :D

What she said.

can't guarantee i can write anything but i'll do my best to get something in :rose:

Ok I'll put them up separately in a new thread, would you prefer them to all go up at once or in dribs and drabs as they come in, so you can cogitate rather than get indigestion from over indulgence?!

I like dribs and drabs, as long as no one mentions when they've submitted or the list of participants doesn't get posted until after the deadline so guessing is still a challenge.

Start sending as soon as you like and I could amend the rules to say send as many as you like of whichever category, you can own up to whatever they are supposed to be after it's all over!

I like that plan. There may be some debate -- it's like the "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" conundrum. And then there is always US Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart.

Being an Englishwoman that means absolutely nothing to me but but I'll just sit on the sidelines and pass out the hard hats :)

"Pluperfect" is Mags, and it's very sweet, defintely not porn.

I don't know which is easier, spotting Ashesh's poems because of the extra-long ellipses, or spotting Ashesh's poems because of the spanking.

The ellipses give it away before you even read the words. :)

Touche , AH !!!

the choice of subject matter also tends to implicate Ashesh/

# 6 also is on the side of erotica rather than porn but definitely not Magneton

"The Stevedore's Wife" is GM, and like Mags' poem, it's a poem about sweet love.

As for "The Object Of My Desire," I suspect Mer.

"Plumperfection" -- also Mags. He's getting a lot of good, solid mileage out of hearing a new word, once upon a time in a website far, far away.

I think that Mer wrote both #8 and #9.

I think #12 is GM. It's too well written and nuanced (the writing, not the subject matter) to be porn imo. I suppose if it were poorly written I'd classify it differently. It is, however, hilarious. Kudos!
