Do you folks even get snow? Ours was gone by the afternoon

They get a dusting occasionally I’ve been here for 15 yrs and they’ve had a foot one winter, but I grew up in Northern Indiana close to Lake Michigan so we got lake effect, would be nothing to drop 15” over night and still go to school the next day, KY closes schools if some one mentions snow regardless if it actually happens, I have spent many a winter IN CHICAGO and Wisconsin Minnesota as a truck driver!!
